Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 3 cups milk (scalded)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3/4 cup cooked rice

  • 1/3 cup raisins

  • Dash of nutmeg and cinnamon

Directions

  • Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, salt and vanilla. Add scalded milk, slowly stirring constantly. Add the rice, raisins and nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Place in a greased, medium-sized deep round baking dish. Set in a pan of water and bake at 350* for 50 minutes.
