1 cup graham crumbs
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup butter or oleo, softened
Combine graham crumbs, sugar and butter and press into 9″ spring form pan.
3 – 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla on medium speed until smooth. Add flour (one tablespoon at a time) blending well. Add eggs (one at a time) beating well after each. Reserve 1 1/2 cups batter and set aside.
- Combine cocoa and sugar in a small bowl. Add oil, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and reserved batter. Mix well.
- Spoon plain and chocolate batters alternately over crust ending with dollops of chocolate on top. Gently swirl with knife for marbled effect.
- Bake at 450* for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 250* and bake for 30 minutes. Turn oven off and let cheesecake cool for 30 minutes in oven without opening door. Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool completely before removing rim.
