Coconut SquaresDifficulty: Easy, Tested
1 white cake mix
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Very fine coconut flakes
- Prepare cake mix ad directed and bake in a 10″ x 15″ pan. Let dry out for one day and then frost.
- For the frosting, mix coca and sugar in a saucepan. Add boiling water (one cup at a time) and vanilla and boil for 10 minutes.
- Cool frosting and dip cut squares in frosting. Sprinkle generous amount of coconut over dipped squares. Place on lined sheet to set.
