1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon grated orange rind
1 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup flour
1 egg white
Finely chopped walnuts
- Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg, vanilla, rinds and lemon juice and mix well. Add flour to mix slowly and mix. Chill for 1-2 hours.
- Form into 1/2″ balls. Roll in slightly beaten egg white then nuts. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 350* for 25 minutes.
