1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups chopped dates
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until foamy.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt. Add nuts and dates to flour mixture. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well.
- Place mixture in a greased 8″ square pan. Bake at 325* for 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
