4 packages (3 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup light raisins
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
4 sheets puff pastry dough
Graham cracker crumbs
- For the filling, combine cream cheese, sugar and egg yolks and beat at medium speed until well-blended. Stir in raisins and lemon peel. Refrigerate.
- Separate four sheets of pastry dough onto a damp cloth and brush with melted butter and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs. Layer two sheets together and spread 1/2 of filling on one end of dough and roll loosely (if too tight, they will split.)
- Bake at 375* for 50-55 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from pan to a wire rack and cool at least 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.
