1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup milk
1 cup quick rolled oats
1 – 12 ounce package chocolate chips
1 cup nuts
- Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients together. Add flour alternately with milk in thirds beating until smooth after each addition.
- Stir in oats, chips and nuts.
- Spread in a greased and floured 15/12″ x 10 12″ x 1″ pan and bake at 350* for about 35-40 minutes.
