2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
1 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
6 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 Tablespoons dark corn syrup
1/3 – 1/2 cup bourbon
1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- Combine crushed wafers and pecans, two tablespoons cocoa and corn syrup. Add enough bourbon to make firm dough. Roll into walnut sized balls. Roll balls in four tablespoons cocoa sifted with sugar. Store tightly covered for at least 24 hours to ripen. Makes 48.
