1 box vanilla wafers
2 sticks butter, softened
2 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped nuts
1 container Cool Whip
- Beat butter, egg yolks and sugar well, about 5-7 minutes. Add pineapple (with juice) and nuts. Stir well.
- Put one layer of vanilla wafers in a greased 9″ x 13″ [an and cover with 1/2 of the mixture. Add another layer of wafers and remaining mixture. Frost with Cool Whip.
- Cover pan well and put in refrigerator for 48 hours before serving.
